Kerri is an outstanding, dedicated, and loved part of Longfellow & Pinewood. She is the current Longfellow PTA Vice President. She works every single day to support students, staff, and our community. Kerri Neil has been a successful spearhead in many projects, grants, and activities that enrich our schools with the exemplary experience our families, students and staff are lucky to be a part of. Century sophomore Tsedenia Bezie won second place with her poem "Echo" in the National Federation of State Poetry Societies' Manningham Student Poetry Contest. In addition to winning a cash prize, Tsedenia will have her poem published in the Manningham Trust Student Anthology, and Century will receive a copy for our library. So much congratulations to her, and a thank you to her for doing the poet's work, as Ishmael Reed says, "Writing poetry is the hard manual labor of the imagination."
