Jefferson Elementary Kitchen Staff

Our kitchen staff are simply amazing! They serve hundreds of breakfasts and lunches each day in short time. They accommodate a variety of food needs with smiles on their faces. Students frequently comment about how tasty the food is. We have a special crew here who takes great care in seasoning our lunches so students will enjoy them even more! We are so lucky to have such dedicated, positive, and caring kitchen staff! Thank you for ALL that you do to serve the Jefferson community!

Jaimi Smiley at John Marshall High School

The Counseling Department at John Marshall wants to acknowledge the amazing work that Jaimi Smiley put in while being the sole social worker at JM. Jaimi never stopped doing everything she could to be available for students and staff while JM was operating at half of its social work FTE. Jaimi, we appreciate you so much - you are a critical member of our team, and you never stop smiling even when things are hard.

RPS Staff at Quarry Hill

I want to celebrate all of the work our RPS staff out at Quarry Hill Nature Center have done to create and redesign lessons for our students that align to the new Minnesota Science Standards! They have thought critically about creating engaging lessons that center local phenomena, engage students as scientists, and allow students authentic opportunities to make meaning of the world around them. Their passion for their work is contagious and is such an asset to RPS community as a whole!

Tim Bjorngaard at John Adams Middle School

Tim has been taking on two jobs while our head custodian is out on medical leave. He always does his job with a smile and is always willing to help with whatever we need in our classrooms! Tim goes above and beyond to make JA a great place to work and a great place for kids to come each and every day!
