FALL CONFERENCES: Nov. 3 from 4-7 pm

Fall Conferences will be in-person on Monday, November 3 from 4-7 pm.

Conferences will be in person and drop in style.

Teachers will be located in each of the 3 gyms, with some teachers meeting in their assigned classrooms.

• Gym 1 -Social Studies, Science, and ML Teachers

• Gym 2 - Specials Teachers, Kincaid, Klingfus, and Orlowski

• Gym 3 - Math and ELA Teachers, Gosse, Malewicki

Amber Jorde (108), Mikala Hora (110), Lance Dahl (112), Cally Young (114), Kate Wilwert (116), Joe Sosinski (132), Anita Otterness (207), Duncan Kell (G002) and Kristina Chahine (G002) will all be located in their classrooms.

There will be maps posted outside of each gym so you will know where to find the teachers you are looking for.

Fall conferences will be "drop-in" style conferences and will be limited to approximately 5-10 minutes per teacher. If additional time is needed, please contact your students' teachers to make arrangements.

Reminder, NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The PTSA will be providing dinner for the teachers during Fall Conferences. We're looking for donations to help with the cost. If you're able to sign up, please bring the items to the JA office no later than 12pm on November 3rd. Thank you!

 

This is a reminder of the Scholastic Book Fair ends Monday, November 3rd at the end of Parent Teacher Conferences. It is held in the auditorium.

We are piloting a parent event around Teen Substance Use Today. It is happening next Thursday, November 6th from 5:30-7:30PM at JM. We would like to extend an invitation to parents from John Adams to attend. Please share this information in as many places as you are able. We will need to reach a minimum number of people enrolled in order to do the event in person. The event entails: 

a presentation by Public Health

community partners

Hidden in Plain Sight is an interactive space for parents to try to locate hidden substances in a mock bedroom

light meal & child care

interpreter support, if requested, in Spanish, Somali & Arabic
